So you might as well up load it that way. At least then you are in charge of the conversion and it takes a whole lot less time. I do have an old version of Sound Forge. Should I just install that and use to convert WAV to mp3, or is there an even simpler way? Ya got high speed net? It takes me about three minutes to upload a wav file.
If you had a problem, try it again. I don't think Soundcloud generally deals in wavs, if at all. It's an mp3 site. If you want to use wavs, I'd go to bandcamp if I were you. I think all of my songs on Sound Cloud are wavs now. You can convert a wav to MP3 in I Tunes pretty easily if you want.
Sometimes our transcoding system can create audio artifacts, as we transcode all tracks to kbps mp3 for streaming playback. Uploading a lossless or high-quality lossy file will usually reduce these to a minimum, but unfortunately there's not much we can do for the handful of individual tracks that are still affected.

So, what format do you experienced dudes usually use? Is mp3 still the standard for uploading or is there something else?
